Job Description
The Senior Manager – Cost Estimation will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, managing budgets, supporting tendering and contract negotiations, and controlling overall cost strategy for luxury villas and high-rise developments in Texas, USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for luxury residential villas and high-rise commercial projects
- Analyze architectural drawings, engineering designs, BOQs, and specifications
- Evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor pricing in the Texas and DFW market
- Conduct market research on local vendors, subcontractors, and construction material costs
- Build and manage strong relationships with local subcontractors and suppliers in Texas
- Prepare budget planning, cost forecasts, value engineering, and cost optimization strategies
- Support tendering, bid evaluation, contract negotiations, and pre-construction planning
- Prepare and present cost reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Maintain and manage historical cost data and benchmarking database
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, or Pre Construction professional in Texas or the DFW construction market
- Strong experience in luxury villas, high-end residential, and high-rise building projects
- Excellent knowledge of USA construction costs, subcontractors, and supplier market
- Strong experience in high-end finishes, premium materials, and luxury construction standards
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and BOQs
- Experience working with real estate developers or development companies in the USA is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
