Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee all on-site execution activities related to the installation of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). This role focuses on the physical deployment of Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Lane Control Systems (LCS), ensuring that all structural, cabling, and cabinet works are completed according to approved technical specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation Supervision: Directly oversee the physical installation of Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), Lane Control Systems (LCS), roadside cabinets, and supporting gantries or poles.

  • Workforce Management: Effectively manage on-site labor teams and subcontractors to ensure maximum productivity and adherence to project timelines.

  • Technical Compliance: Ensure all site activities are executed strictly according to the approved shop drawings and engineering specifications.

  • Cabling & Power: Supervise the trenching, laying, and termination of fiber optic and power cabling associated with roadside equipment.

  • Progress Tracking: Monitor daily progress, maintain detailed site reports, and support the engineering team during testing and commissioning phases.

  • Safety Oversight: Enforce strict health and safety compliance, particularly when working in high-risk live traffic environments.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.

  • Experience: 5–10 years of hands-on site experience in Infrastructure, Telecom, or ITS projects.

  • Technical Background: Proven experience in the installation of outdoor field equipment, mechanical structural works, and complex cabling systems.

  • Operational Setting: Prior experience working in roadside or live traffic environments is highly preferred.

  • Mandatory: A valid UAE Driving License is required for traveling between project sites and coordinating with field teams.
