Precast Structural R&D Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 6,500 – 10,000 per month

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Precast Structural R&D Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and technical improvement of precast concrete structural systems, components, and construction methodologies in Dubai.

The role is suited to a structural engineering professional with hands-on experience in precast concrete design, structural analysis, product development, modular construction, construction methodologies, and research & development.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, production, project, and commercial teams to develop practical, efficient, manufacturable, and cost-effective precast structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development and improvement of precast structural systems, components, and construction methodologies.
    • Perform structural analysis, design, and validation of precast and cast-in-situ concrete elements.
    • Develop innovative solutions for precast and modular construction applications.
    • Conduct design optimization studies to improve structural efficiency, manufacturability, constructability, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with production, project, engineering, and commercial teams to translate structural concepts into practical solutions.
    • Review field execution challenges and incorporate lessons learned into product and structural system development.
    • Develop and validate precast connections, lifting arrangements, erection methodologies, and structural detailing standards.
    • Prepare technical reports, structural calculations, engineering guidelines, standard details, and R&D documentation.
    • Participate in prototype testing, performance evaluations, and product qualification activities.
    • Support ongoing construction projects through technical expertise in design review, troubleshooting, and structural optimization.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of precast products, systems, and construction processes.
