Position Overview

Estimator Jobs Dubai: We are seeking an experienced Estimator specializing in floor coating and waterproofing systems to prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and commercial tender submissions for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in floor coating estimation, waterproofing estimation, epoxy flooring, PU flooring, polyaspartic coatings, acrylic coatings, self-leveling systems, and waterproofing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, architectural drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for floor coating and waterproofing works.
• Estimate specialist flooring systems including:
  • Epoxy flooring
  • PU flooring
  • Polyaspartic coatings
  • Acrylic coatings
  • Self-leveling flooring systems
  • Waterproofing systems
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare comparison statements and detailed cost analyses.
• Coordinate with procurement, technical, commercial, and project teams during tender preparation.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings when required.
• Maintain historical costing information and material pricing databases.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining technical and contractual compliance.
• Support preparation of technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Review project specifications and ensure estimated systems meet required performance standards.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of estimation experience in floor coating and waterproofing projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Epoxy flooring systems
  • PU flooring systems
  • Polyaspartic coatings
  • Acrylic coatings
  • Self-leveling flooring
  • Waterproofing systems
• Proven experience in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tendering.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Good understanding of relevant ASTM, ISO, and SSPC standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and cost management skills.

Specialist Experience

Candidates with experience in industrial flooring, commercial flooring, floor coating systems, waterproofing applications, and infrastructure projects will be highly considered.
