Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager with strong pipeline construction experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate must have valid ADNOC approval as a Construction Manager, extensive Oil & Gas construction experience, and proven expertise in pipeline construction, installation, commissioning, and site management.

Key Requirements

  • Valid ADNOC approval as Construction Manager is mandatory.
  • Minimum 10 years of construction experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong experience in pipeline construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Experience managing onshore and/or offshore pipeline projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, HSE requirements, quality procedures, and construction practices.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors, site teams, manpower, equipment, materials, and construction schedules.
  • Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, engineering teams, and project management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is required.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical construction activities and pipeline execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple construction activities while maintaining safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all construction activities related to pipeline projects.
  • Ensure construction work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with ADNOC, consultants, subcontractors, engineering teams, and project management.
  • Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and construction resources.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, HSE procedures, quality requirements, and approved construction procedures.
  • Lead construction teams and ensure productivity and quality targets are achieved.
  • Review construction schedules and monitor progress against planned targets.
  • Identify construction issues, delays, and risks and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Resolve site issues and coordinate technical and construction matters with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper coordination between construction, engineering, procurement, commissioning, and project teams.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure construction activities are executed according to approved method statements, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
