Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced CAD Electrical Draftsman with strong UAE experience in building and MEP projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent AutoCAD skills and hands-on experience preparing electrical layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for building construction and MEP projects.

The candidate must be currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in building / MEP projects.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience preparing electrical layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
Good knowledge of building electrical services and systems.
Practical experience in MEP and building construction projects.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Ability to coordinate drawings with project, MEP, and site teams.
Immediate joiner required.
Candidate must be currently based in the UAE.
Ability to work across different Emirates as required.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed electrical layouts and drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Revise drawings based on project requirements, site conditions, and consultant/client comments.
Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, and other MEP services.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and requirements.
Support project and site teams with accurate technical drawings.
Maintain updated drawing revisions and documentation.
Assist with drawing submissions and technical documentation when required.
