The Role
We are recruiting a qualified Chartered Accountant in Dubai for one of our leading clients, an established Construction and Contracting Company.
In this role, you will manage the complete financial operations, project accounting, and statutory compliance for the business. You will focus on monitoring project costs, handling UAE VAT, and delivering financial reports directly to senior management.
Key Responsibilities - Construction Chartered Accountant Jobs in Dubai
Project Accounting & Cost Control | Project Accountant
Monitor project costs, budgets, and overall profitability across all ongoing construction sites.
Review project-wise revenue recognition, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and accurate cost allocations.
Support tendering and project management teams with financial inputs and costing analysis.
Financial Management & Reporting
Manage full-cycle accounting and finance functions for the contracting business.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and executive dashboards.
Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and accurate cash flow forecasting.
Complete monthly bank, supplier, and specific project account reconciliations.
Compliance, Audit & Payroll
Ensure strict compliance with UAE VAT regulations and handle timely statutory filings.
Coordinate directly with external auditors, commercial banks, and local regulatory authorities.
Oversee payroll accounting, internal financial controls, and corporate governance.
Requirements - Chartered Accountant Jobs in Dubai
Qualifications: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Experience: Minimum 3 years of UAE experience strictly within a contracting or construction company - Strong experience in Construction Project Accounting.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction finance, project accounting, and UAE VAT laws.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience using modern ERP accounting software.
Nationality: Open to Indian male or female candidates (matching client project demographic preferences).
Availability: Ready to join within a standard or reasonable notice period.
