Construction Manager – Water Infrastructure

Position Overview

We are currently recruiting an experienced Construction Manager to oversee major water infrastructure and civil construction projects in the UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, supervising infrastructure works, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with required quality and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction activities for major water infrastructure projects.
• Oversee installation of water transmission and distribution pipelines.
• Supervise sewerage networks, stormwater drainage systems, and utility infrastructure works.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
• Monitor construction progress, project schedules, resources, and site performance.
• Resolve technical and site-related issues to maintain project progress.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead construction teams, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Prepare regular progress reports and provide updates to project management.
• Ensure timely completion and successful handover of construction works.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 13+ years of experience in infrastructure construction.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager managing water infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in:
  • Water transmission and distribution pipelines
  • Sewerage networks
  • Stormwater drainage systems
  • Pumping stations
  • Utility infrastructure
• Strong experience in large-scale civil and infrastructure construction projects.
• UAE or GCC experience with infrastructure contractors is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relevant UAE utility authority standards and requirements.
• Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: AED 20,000 per month

In addition to the salary package, the position includes:
