Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HCL Digital Experience (DX) CMS Developer to support and enhance the digital platform. The role focuses on developing, managing, and optimizing content-driven experiences delivered through HCL DX, ensuring seamless integration between CMS capabilities and mobile application interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CMS-driven features supporting the app and websites using HCL DX
• Design and manage content structures using HCL Web Content Manager (WCM)
• Build and customize templates, components, and presentation layers for mobile consumption
• Integrate HCL DX with mobile applications and website via REST APIs and headless CMS approaches
• Collaborate with mobile app developers, UI/UX designers, and backend teams
• Optimize content delivery for performance, scalability, and responsiveness on mobile devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve CMS and integration-related issues
• Ensure secure and compliant content delivery aligned with enterprise standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with HCL Digital Experience (DX) and Web Content Manager (WCM)
• Experience in building headless CMS solutions for mobile applications and websites
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Understanding of mobile app content delivery and API-driven architectures
• Familiarity with portal customization (themes, templates, components)
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting mobile applications (iOS/Android) with CMS integration
• Knowledge of HCL DX 9.x or later
• Familiarity with cloud environments and microservices architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of personalization and analytics within digital experience platforms

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3–7+ years of experience in HCL DX (HCL Digital Experience) CMS development/IBM Websphere Web content management 
• Prior experience working on mobile app-integrated CMS platforms is a strong advantage
