Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced HR Lead to manage the complete HR function for a fast-paced distribution/wholesale business in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have strong UAE HR and Labour Law knowledge and proven experience managing both white-collar and blue-collar employees, including sales, warehouse, logistics, and support teams.

The HR Lead will work closely with the General Manager / Owner and will be responsible for recruitment, manpower planning, employee relations, payroll coordination, visas, medical insurance, HR policies, and overall employee administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the complete HR function across sales, warehouse, logistics, and support teams.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, manpower planning, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
  • Handle HR requirements for both white-collar and blue-collar employees.
  • Manage employee attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and company HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee visas, medical insurance, documentation, renewals, and annual tickets.
  • Support management with performance management, disciplinary matters, employee relations, and staff retention.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective HR policies and procedures suitable for a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Coordinate with management and department heads on manpower requirements and workforce planning.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support management in resolving employee issues and workplace concerns.
  • Monitor HR processes and identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide management with relevant workforce information.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of overall HR experience, preferably within FMCG, distribution, wholesale, trading, logistics, or similar industries.
  • Strong UAE HR experience and excellent knowledge of UAE Labour Law.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in UAE HR and Labour Law is preferred/required based on the screening criteria.
  • Proven experience hiring and managing both white-collar and blue-collar employees.
  • Strong experience handling employee visa and medical insurance processes.
  • Experience managing diverse workforces, including warehouse, logistics, sales, and support staff.
  • Strong understanding of HR administration, employee relations, recruitment, attendance, leave, and payroll processes.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and closely with the General Manager / Owner.
  • Experience with HR software, HRMS, or ERP systems is preferred.
