Operations Manager – Manufacturing Unit

Job Purpose

We are seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead end-to-end factory operations. You will oversee Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Logistics, and HSE to drive operational excellence, profitability, and on-time delivery in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Factory Leadership: Manage all manufacturing operations to meet production, quality, cost, and safety targets.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to minimize waste and machine downtime.
• Financial Control: Manage factory budgets and operational costs to improve plant profitability.
• Resource Optimization: Maximize productivity, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and capacity utilization.
• Team Development: Lead and mentor high-performing cross-functional teams.

• Production Target Achievement & On-Time Delivery (OTD)
• Manufacturing Cost, Profitability & OEE
• Inventory Turnover & Scrap/Waste Reduction
• Safety Performance (LTIFR) & Employee Retention

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Automotive Engineering. An MBA in Operations Management is preferred.
• Experience: 12–18 years in manufacturing, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Industry: Strong background in Automotive Manufacturing, Automotive Components, Heavy Engineering, or Industrial Manufacturing.
• Skills: Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Factory Management, ERP systems, Excel, and Power BI.
