Project Engineer – Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and coordination of Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Lane Control Systems (LCS) installation and integration. This role is critical for the delivery of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and requires a hands-on approach to site-level coordination and technical document review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Assist in scheduling, progress monitoring, and ensuring milestones are met for infrastructure delivery.

  • Technical Coordination: Liaise between design, procurement, and site teams to ensure project alignment.

  • Site Supervision: Monitor the installation of Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), Lane Control Systems (LCS) units, cabinets, and associated fiber optic and power cabling works.

  • Document Control: Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents for compliance.

  • Handover: Support testing, commissioning, and final project handover activities.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.

  • Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) or large-scale Infrastructure projects.

  • Technical Skill: Proven experience with roadside systems, including Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), traffic management systems, or telecom field equipment.

  • Mandatory: Valid UAE Driving License is required for site visits and coordination.

  • Capability: Experience in multi-contractor environments and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) technical coordination.
