We are seeking an exceptional Psychiatrist— SCFHS licensed —to join this world-class multidisciplinary team.
This is a pivotal role for a professional who is already based in the Kingdom and holds the necessary SCFHS credentials. The ideal candidate will be a bilingual expert capable of bridging cultural and clinical gaps to provide high-quality psychiatric care to both pediatric and adult populations.
Key Clinical Responsibilities - Psychiatrist Jobs in KSA
Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluations
Conduct in-depth psychiatric assessments for a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, and personality disorders.
Provide specialized evaluations for children and adolescents, focusing on neurodevelopmental disorders, ADHD, and childhood-onset psychiatric conditions.
Formulate clear, evidence-based diagnostic conclusions using international standards (DSM-5/ICD-11).
Pharmacological and Treatment Management
Develop and manage complex medication regimens, ensuring patient safety and treatment efficacy.
Monitor patients for therapeutic response and side effects, adjusting dosages in line with clinical progress.
Integrate medical treatments with psychotherapeutic interventions in collaboration with the clinical psychology team.
Multidisciplinary Leadership and Coordination
Lead weekly clinical case conferences to discuss complex cases and treatment trajectories.
Provide expert consultation to the allied health team (OTs, SLTs, and Psychologists) to ensure a holistic "wrap-around" care model.
Maintain comprehensive, confidential electronic medical records in full compliance with KSA Ministry of Health regulations.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements - Psychiatrist Jobs in KSA
Licensure and Education
Medical Degree followed by a recognized residency in Psychiatry.
Mandatory: A valid and active license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
Language and Residency
Bilingual Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in Arabic and English is essential for conducting clinical sessions.
Current Location: You must be currently based in Saudi Arabia with a transferable iqama or local residency status.
