Site Supervisor – ITS & Infrastructure (Package 2C)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Type: Full-Time

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day execution for the "ITS2020/2C – Local Infrastructure Works" project. This role is responsible for the physical deployment of the fiber optic network, including trenching, duct laying, manhole construction, and the installation of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) cabinets. You will ensure that all civil and electrical works are executed according to approved designs and stringent safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execution Oversight: Supervise all on-site activities, including trenching, duct laying, fiber optic cable pulling, and the installation of outstation/hub cabinets.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with multiple subcontractors to ensure works are executed on schedule and meet the project’s technical specifications.
  • Technical Adherence: Monitor compliance with approved shop drawings and ensure that all electrical and communication installations are precise.
  • Safety & Housekeeping: Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain high standards of site housekeeping, especially when working in live traffic environments.
  • Progress Reporting: Maintain accurate daily site diaries and progress reports, documenting milestones and resolving on-site issues immediately.
  • Testing Support: Assist the engineering team during site inspections, fiber testing (OTDR/LSPM), and the final commissioning of field equipment.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of site-based experience in Infrastructure, Telecom, or ITS projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in outdoor field installations, including ducting, fiber cabling, and electrical power connections.
  • Environmental Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage sites within roadside or live traffic environments.
  • Mobility: A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory for site-to-site coordination across Dubai.
