Key Clinical Responsibilities - Speech Therapist Jobs in Riyadh

Diagnostic Assessment

Perform comprehensive evaluations for speech delays, language disorders, articulation issues, and social communication challenges.
Utilize standardized assessment tools for both pediatric and adult populations.
Diagnose feeding and swallowing disorders (dysphagia) where applicable within the scope of practice.

Therapeutic Planning and Delivery

Develop creative, engaging, and goal-oriented therapy sessions for children with various neurodevelopmental needs.
Implement individualized communication programs, including the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) if necessary.
Conduct adult therapy for communication disorders resulting from neurological or psychiatric conditions.

Clinical Collaboration

Partner with Occupational Therapists and Psychiatrists to create integrated care pathways for patients with complex needs.
Maintain clear communication with schools and other external stakeholders regarding pediatric progress.
Ensure all clinical documentation is up-to-date and meets international best practice standards.
